travel united states oregon heceta head beach

The beach at Heceta Head is a beautiful sand beach nestled in a small bay and fed by Cape Creek which enters at the south end of beach and goes to the sea.
This beach is favorite place for us to go, especially in the off season when the crowds are small and the sea can be quite entertaining.
This is a State Park and fee use area.
There is good parking and restrooms next to the beach and more parking about a block back from the sand.
There is a trail from the parking lot up to the lighthouse and lighthouse keepers house to the north.
A Great place to stop for a restroom break, picnic lunch, or a full day at the beach.
